Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy explains how RENVO handles personal information when you use the RENVO mobile or web application, its AI-assisted design features, renovation planning tools, community features, purchases and support channels.

2. Information we handle

Account and profile information

We process your email address, authentication identifiers, display name, profile settings and, if you choose social sign-in, information returned by that provider. RENVO does not receive your Google Play payment card details.

Room photos, designs and project information

When you select or capture a room photo, RENVO processes the image and the design choices, prompts, room type, style, materials, colours and project information you provide. Generated images, analyses, renovation plans and saved projects may be stored with your account so you can access them later.

Community content

If you choose to publish, we process the designs, before-and-after images, captions, comments, replies, likes, polls, votes and profile name you share. Community content is visible to other signed-in RENVO users. Do not upload personal or confidential material you do not want others to see.

Usage and technical information

We may collect app events, feature usage, error information, app version, device and operating-system information, approximate network information and performance data. RENVO does not request precise location access.

Purchases and entitlements

For Google Play purchases, we process product identifiers, purchase tokens, order identifiers, subscription status, credited amounts and account-binding identifiers. Google processes the payment method and provides RENVO only the information needed to validate and fulfil the purchase.

Support information

We process the messages and contact information you send when requesting support, exercising privacy rights or reporting a concern.

3. How and why we use information

We use information to:

• create and secure accounts and authenticate users;
• provide AI design generation, editing, analysis and renovation planning;
• save projects and deliver user-requested features;
• operate community posts, comments, reactions and polls;
• validate purchases, maintain credit balances and manage subscriptions;
• provide support, prevent abuse and enforce our Terms;
• understand product performance and improve RENVO; and
• comply with legal, tax, accounting and platform obligations.

Where applicable under the GDPR, these activities rely on performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing RENVO, your consent where requested, and compliance with legal obligations.

4. Service providers and disclosures

RENVO uses providers that process information on our behalf or under their own terms:

• Supabase for authentication, account data and application databases;
• Cloudflare for API delivery, security and image/object storage;
• OpenAI to process selected photos and instructions and produce AI-assisted outputs;
• PostHog EU for product analytics when analytics is enabled;
• Google for Google sign-in, Google Play distribution, billing and purchase verification; and
• Meta if you choose Facebook sign-in.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or in connection with a legitimate transfer of the service. We do not sell personal information and do not use room photos for advertising.

Some providers may process information outside your country. Where required, we rely on recognised safeguards for international transfers.

5. Retention

Account information and saved projects are generally retained while your account remains active. You may delete individual content where the app provides that control, or delete your account. We may retain limited security logs, transaction records, records of moderation actions and information required for legal, fraud-prevention, accounting or dispute purposes. Backup copies may remain for a limited period before being overwritten.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection to certain processing, and may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. To make a request, email renvo.project@gmail.com. We may need to verify that the request relates to your account.

You can permanently delete your account from the app by following the steps on our Account Deletion page.

7. Security

We use access controls, authenticated requests, encrypted network connections and service-side purchase verification. No system is completely secure, so please use a unique password, protect your device and notify us if you suspect unauthorised access.

8. Age

RENVO is designed and marketed for adults aged 18 and over. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as RENVO changes. The current version and effective date will remain available on this page. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or through another appropriate channel.
